Structural brain abnormalities in children and young people with chronic neuropathic pain

Improving phenotyping of neuropathic pain patients was a hot topic at NeuPSIG 2019. Preliminary MRI results from a study showing abnormalities in the amygdala of children and young people (CYP) aged 10–18 years old with chronic neuropathic pain will form part of the effort to improve deep phenotyping of this understudied population.
